Job summary

The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia is seeking an auxiliary Dishwasher in Victoria, BC, offering a hourly wage of $27.51–$30.56 plus 8% vacation pay. This on-site, temporary end-date position is classified as an Auxiliary As-and-When Required until December 2026.

You will work under the Executive Chef and support the kitchen team by cleaning and sanitizing, handling dishes, and assisting with basic prep tasks. A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or private club facility or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• The Dishwasher plays a vital role in the smooth operation of the kitchen by ensuring equipment cleanliness and hygiene.
• Operates commercial dishwashing equipment and sanitizes dishes, glassware and utensils to health standards.
• Assists in basic kitchen prep tasks and maintains overall kitchen cleanliness.
