Job summary

Playground is a renowned gaming destination just outside downtown Montreal, offering dynamic dining and hospitality opportunities. We are hiring a Dishwasher to maintain a clean, efficient kitchen and ensure a steady flow of clean items for the team.

You will load/unload dishwashers, sanitize surfaces, and support busy shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays, with onboarding and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must speak English or French and be 18 years or older.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Work experience in a similar position is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils.
• Collect used dishes, plates and utensils.
• Load and unload washing machines.
• Stack washed items appropriately.
• Sanitize, clean and organize the kitchen area.
• Empty garbage and recycling bins.

Position Overview

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of our culinary workspace. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils for the kitchen and service staff, as well as managing the seamless flow of dirty dishes for cleaning. This is a full-time position, and candidates must have full availability that would include overnights.

Aperçu du rôle :

En tant que plongeur(se), vous serez responsable du maintien de la propreté et de l’efficacité opérationnelle de notre espace de travail culinaire. Vos principales responsabilités incluent l’assurance d’un approvisionnement constant en vaisselle, verres et ustensiles propres pour la cuisine et le personnel de service, ainsi que la gestion du flux continu de la vaisselle sale vers le nettoyage. Il s’agit d’un poste à temps plein, et les candidats doivent avoir une disponibilité complète, incluant les quarts de nuit.

Responsabilités :

• S'assurer qu'il y a toujours suffisamment de vaisselle, de verres et d'ustensiles propres
• Collecter la vaisselle, les assiettes et les ustensiles usagés
• Charger et décharger les machines à laver
• Empiler les articles lavés de manière appropriée
• Assainir, nettoyer et organiser l'espace cuisine
• Vider les poubelles et les bacs de recyclage

Exigences :

• Doit parler anglais ou français et être âgé de 18 ans ou plus
• Excellentes aptitudes à la communication et à l'organisation
• Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois et à rester calme et professionnel dans un environnement où les activités se déroulent rapidement
• Flexibilité pour travailler sur différents quarts de travail, y compris les fins de semaine, les soirs et les jours fériés
• Une expérience de travail dans un poste similaire est obligatoire
