Job summary

Hudson is seeking a dishwasher to support our busy kitchen operations in Calgary. You will operate dishwashers, clean and sanitize glassware and utensils, and maintain an organized dish area while assisting with supplies and general duties.

The role requires standing for long periods, a full availability schedule, and legal eligibility to work in Canada. Wage ranges from $15 to $17 per hour with opportunities for benefits and perks as part of Hudson's employee program.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers efficiently.
• Wash glassware and flatware.
• Polish all glassware and flatware.
• Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, carts and racks.
• Assist in receiving and stocking supplies/products.
• Safely handle and store cleaning products.
• General dish area maintenance including sweeping, mopping, organization and garbage removal.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Back of House Management Team, our dishwashers clean and put away all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish area and dish machines.

The day to day:

• Operate dishwashers efficiently.
• Wash glassware and flatware.
• Polish all glassware and flatware.
• Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks.
• Assist in receiving and stocking supplies/products.
• Safely handle and store cleaning products.
• General dish area maintenance including: sweeping, mopping, organization and garbage removal.
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a dishwasher role or similar environment an asset.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to take direction and remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated
• Organizational skills and an ability to multi-task.
• Able to spend 100% of the time standing
• This position requires a full availability schedule
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
