Job summary

Electronic Arts in Burnaby, BC is hiring a part-time Dishwasher to support our busy kitchen operations. The hourly wage starts at $20, with final compensation based on skills and experience. Training and total rewards will be discussed during the process.

You will clean and sanitize dishes, maintain sanitary work areas, and assist with loading and unloading supplies. A Food Handler Certificate is required or provincial equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments is a plus.
• Willingness to work in shifts in a busy kitchen setting.
• Experience with industrial dishwashing equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils based on procedures and equipment.
• Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth.
• Maintain the dish and kitchen area and ensure equipment is clean, in working condition and compliant with safety standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Assist in loading, unloading and transferring supplies, products and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

How you will make an impact:

About you:

• Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines preferred
