Job summary

Compass Group Canada is looking for a Dishwasher in Mississauga. You will ensure the cleanliness of dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays and utensils, and maintain a sanitary kitchen area and equipment.

Applicants should have a valid Food Handler Certificate and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous dishwashing experience is preferred, and experience with industrial washing machines is a plus. AI-based tools may be used in screening during the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils based on procedures and assigned equipment.
• Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth.
• Maintain the dish and kitchen area and ensure equipment is clean, in working condition and compliant with safety standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Assist in loading, unloading and transferring supplies, products and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.

The hourly wage rate for this position is $23.94 . Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. How you will make an impact:
