Job summary

Compass Group Canada is hiring a Dishwasher in Calgary to maintain the cleanliness of dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays and utensils, and to keep the kitchen and equipment sanitary. You will operate dishwashing systems and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent, and be capable of working under pressure. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler Certificate.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Physical ability to perform duties (lift, stand, manual washing).
• Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays and utensils.
• Polish silver using specified methods and equipment.
• Maintain the dish and kitchen area in clean, safe condition.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators and other prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and manage waste disposal.
• Assist with loading, unloading and transferring supplies and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
