Job summary

Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant & Brewpub in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher for a seasonal role through October 13, 2026. You will help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen by washing dishes, organizing the dish area, and supporting the culinary team during busy service times.

Ideal candidates are reliable, flexible, and able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. First Aid or Food Safe certification is a plus; work permits must be valid for the duration of employment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen or dishwashing role preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Willingness to learn and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and ensure a steady supply for kitchen staff.
• Organize and store clean dishes, utensils, and cookware in the appropriate areas to maintain an orderly kitchen.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the dishwashing area, ensuring it meets health and safety standards at all times.
• Remove trash, recyclables, and waste materials from the kitchen and dining areas as needed, ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, keeping up with the volume of dishes during peak service hours.
• Support kitchen staff by quickly and efficiently cleaning and sanitizing kitchen tools and equipment as they are used.
• Assist with other cleaning duties around the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces, as required.
• Assist with other prep duties around the kitchen, including portion, making bottles, etc.
• Be available for any additional tasks or special requests as needed by the kitchen manager or staff.

Our Brewing Team craft a line‑up of beers inspired by the nature around us, and our Culinary Team creates a menu to compliment the beer to really showcase some of the finest food and beverage in the area. As part of our Culinary Team, you provide the magic and expertise to bring our offerings to life.

Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant & Brewpub is nestled in the heart of Stanley Park surrounded by beautiful scenery, sporting activities and just steps away from some of the best beaches and trails in Canada.

We are currently looking to add to our stellar team of people here at the Brewpub for the Summer. Our team is carefully selected and crafted to be able to not only provide excellent service and experiences to our guests, but to become part of a diverse, dynamic, caring and fun group all whilst working in the alluring surroundings of Stanley Park.

As a Dishwasher, you’ll need to:

There may be an opportunity to extend past this date dependant on the needs of the business. Hours and shifts may vary and include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. We strictly adhere to any work permit hour restrictions.
