The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a casual/relief Dishwasher to ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room and storage areas in accordance with Public Health standards.
You will wash dishes and pots, load and unload dish machines, and support dining operations while shifts vary and hours are offered as needed.

Position Purpose The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room and storage areas, including washing all dishes/pots/pans (etc.) - according to Public Health Standards. They spend time loading and unloading dishes from dish machines, washing all pans or utensils that come into contact with food, and scraping identifiers off everything.
This is a casual/relief position. There are no standard weekly hours of work as an 'elect-to-work' position, no guaranteed hours and work will be offered on an as needed basis; shifts may include days, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
The target hiring range for this position is $17.60 to $19.85 with a maximum of $23.82. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
