Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Dishwasher to support kitchen operations by maintaining clean, sanitized work areas and ensuring all dishware, cookware, and equipment meet food safety standards. You will set up dishwashing stations, operate dish machines, and help maintain a safe, organized kitchen environment that supports quality meal service and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial dishwashing and maintaining clean, sanitary work areas.
• Ability to follow food safety standards and log sanitation data.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up dishwashing and pot washing stations.
• Operate dish machines per manufacturer instructions.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and cookware.
• Maintain accurate temperature and sanitation logs.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
• Clean kitchen equipment, floors, and prep areas.
• Assist with storage, labeling, and rotation of supplies.
• Follow OSHA and food safety regulations at all times.
• Support dining service duties as assigned.
