DELISH LICKS in Medicine Hat, AB is seeking a self-motivated Dishwasher with strong interpersonal skills who can start promptly. The role is on the day shift and involves maintaining cleanliness, handling dishes, and supporting kitchen operations in a fast-paced setting.

This is a permanent, full-time position with 40 hours per week at $16.00 hourly; two vacancies exist. Requirements include English fluency and a high school diploma, with 7 months to under 1 year of related experience being

Responsabilités

• Transport and organize dishes, utensils, and linens to serving areas and set tables.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs; assist with general kitchen cleanliness.
• Operate dishwashers and manually wash dishes, glasses, and cutlery.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars; store supplies in proper storage areas.
• Receive, unpack, and store supplies; handle cleaning products safely.
• Remove kitchen garbage and maintain a clean work environment.

• The candidate must bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to the serving areas and set tables.
• The candidate will be responsible for carrying and replacing linen.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must be able to use dishwashers to clean dishes, glasses, and flatware.
• The candidate must place dishes in the storage area.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must clean pots and pans.
• The candidate will be responsible for stocking refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must be capable of handling and storing cleaning products.
• The candidate will be responsible for receiving, unpacking and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for removing kitchen garbage and trash regularly.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
