About the role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Disaster Recovery Analyst to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our disaster recovery (DR) capabilities such as moving towards Technology Resiliency. This role is critical to ensuring the resilience of our technology infrastructure and minimizing disruption to business operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery plans for critical infrastructure and business critical applications.
- Lead risk assessments, impact analysis, and resiliency testing across systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between IT recovery strategies and objectives.
- Develop and execute DR exercises, tabletop simulations, and failover tests to validate recovery capabilities.
- Monitor emerging threats and trends in technology resiliency and recommend proactive measures.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards as well as comply to various audits.
- Provide executive-level reporting on resiliency posture, gaps, and remediation plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or any combination of training and equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in Information Security (InfoSec).
- Experience or equivalent understanding in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or Infrastructure Resilience.
- Ability to coordinate and lead various cross-functional teams involved.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, virtualization, and network architecture.
- Experience with risk management frameworks.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and structured approach.
- Proactive and excellent management of priorities.
- Positive attitude, great team spirit.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commitment to training, self-learning and maintaining technical competencies in cybersecurity.
- Certifications such as CBCP, is a plus.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
