About the Role

Joining our Lifestyles (home care support) team you willprovide oneonone support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes with travel between clients and working short split shifts required.

To provide best support you will have experience in providing high intensity daily personal activities (including complex bowel care) and manual handling (including hoist transfers).

To be considered for a role you must be able to commit to a variety of individual client sessions which may be as short as 30 minutes. Note shifts will be paid at a minimum of 2 hours and you will be reimbursed 0.99 cents per kilometre travelled between client sessions.

Shifts are available across various suburbs in the Hawkesbury area including Richmond Wilberforce Windsor Downs Bligh Park and surrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (including complex bowel care)
  • Assist with hoist transfers
  • Assistance with daily living (including personal care)
  • Domestic assistance (support with household chores)
  • Maintain and monitor personcentred plans
  • Documenting and progress note keeping

Skills & Experience

  • Experience providing High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA)
  • Previous experience support people with disabilityin a home care setting
  • Confidence and experience in manual handling and providing personal care
  • Australian Drivers Licence and reliable insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Willing to complete basic household chores
  • Passionate about delivering PersonCentred care
