Job summary

LutherCare Communities seeks a Disability Support Worker to join our Group Home team, ensuring personal care and safety for residents and implementing individual lifestyle plans.

Responsibilities include resident care, programming, and home maintenance, with shifts that cover days, evenings, and weekends. A Grade 12 education and Food Safe Certificate are required; Sign language is a plus, and Basic Skills Training is provided by LCC.

Qualifications

• Applicants typically qualify with Grade 12 education and experience with adults with cognitive and physical disabilities in a residential setting.
• A Disability Support Worker (Rehabilitation Worker) course or Special Care Aide is preferred; Food Safe Certificate is required.
• Sign language is desirable and Basic Skills Training is provided by LutherCare Communities.

Responsibilities
