Join WJS Canada as a support worker, offering vital assistance to individuals with mental health challenges. This role involves providing daily personal support, managing crisis situations, and documenting client care. We value collaborative efforts and recognize that diverse backgrounds contribute to an inclusive work environment, where every voice matters.
Support individuals with household chores, life skills, personal hygiene (if needed).
Provide supports as per the individual's care plan.
Provide immediate support in crisis situations and use de-escalation techniques to deal with behaviours.
Administer medication, perform first aid if/when necessary.
Use computer programs to write objective daily reports and document notes & observations regarding the client.

Prior to employment confirmation, all applicants must provide a current Criminal Record Check and/or Government Screening Letter, depending on province and sector, as communicated by the Program Hiring Team.
