Qualifications

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead and/or participate in obtaining environmental authorizations, including environmental impact studies, within a multidisciplinary team;
  • Lead and/or contribute to preparing service offers, technical reports, and ensuring adherence to budgets, deadlines, and quality standards;
  • Monitor regulatory developments and standardize environmental assessment methods at Englobe;
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in conducting sectoral studies, environmental authorizations, or impact assessments;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop planning concepts, compensation monitoring programs, or environmental surveillance.

What makes you unique

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, geography, land management, or equivalent (Master’s preferred);
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in environmental authorization or impact studies;
  • Thorough knowledge of industrial and mining issues and related regulations;
  • Strong writing, consultation, and process standardization skills;
  • Public presentation skills (consultation processes, BAPE sessions, or business development);
  • Familiarity with the Quebec Environment Quality Law (LQE) and the Canadian Impact Assessment Law (LÉI);
  • Experience with BAPE processes;
  • Knowledge of the COMEX process (asset);
  • Familiarity with RÉEIE, RAEFIE, RAMHHS regulations.
