Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior compliance leader in Toronto to own and oversee the Tier 1 supervision framework across regions. You will lead a team and act as the senior escalation point for complex matters, shaping KPIs and the roadmap for Tier 1 oversight.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in financial services, mandatory cross-border travel, and bilingual English/French capabilities for Quebec. Strong communication, integrity, and regulatory knowledge are essential to drive data-informed

Qualifications

• University degree (or equivalent) is required.
• Professional designations MBA, CIM, CFA are preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of financial industry experience.
• Knowledge of mutual fund and investment dealer compliance standards.
• CIRO registration proficiency for Supervisors.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Sound judgment and integrity in high-risk matters.
• Experience leading high-performing teams in a regulatory environment.
• Ability to travel nationally (10-15%).
• Bilingualism in French and English required for Quebec.
