Join BBA as the Vancouver Office Director and lead a dynamic team of over 150 professionals. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering complex projects in the Mining, Energy, Chemical, Power, and Industrial markets. At BBA, we’re involved in all project phases, from frontend studies through field implementation, with a focus on detailed engineering.

As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you’ll manage the office’s human, financial, and material resources and oversee activities to fulfill BBA’s operational objectives.

You’ll use your leadership skills daily to develop trusting relationships with employees and partners, deliver projects and strategic objectives, train the next generation, and manage a passionate team.

This role offers the opportunity to lead while working closely with talented people.

Summary of certifications and job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and membership in good standing with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in consulting engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering and project management
  • Experience in engaging and managing technical teams
  • Excellent soft skills and collaborative management skills
  • Experience and interest in business development
  • Experience in organizational development and managing multidisciplinary work teams
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving operational KPIs and driving performance improvements
  • An ambassador of the firm’s values, promoting them and leading by example

  • Annual base salary between $170,000 to $225,000
