The RBC US Enterprise Value Creation (US EVC) team is a high-impact, strategy-driven function that is dedicated to driving sustainable, long-term value across RBC’s businesses in the U.S., our Second Home Market. Rooted in a rigorous and results-oriented mindset at the intersection of strategy, execution, and governance, the team identifies and executes initiatives that deliver measurable financial and operational outcomes, and works closely with Lines of Business and Functional Units leadership teams to ensure that value creation is both impactful and enduring.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Director, US Enterprise Value Creation to join our team. The Director will be responsible for ensuring robust governance, preparing high-quality insights and deliverables for senior leadership, and executing transformative initiatives that enhance performance, profitability, and long-term value. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic rigor and operating experience, and a proven ability to navigate complexity and influence outcomes at both the corporate and subsidiary levels.
Job Description
What will you do?
- Lead high-impact cross-business strategic initiatives, integration efforts and evaluations to unlock revenue growth, enhance operating efficiency, and optimize cost and capital deployment across the region
- Analyze and synthesizeinternal strategic context and external industry benchmarks and emerging risksto provide actionable insights that inform senior leadership decision-making on key initiatives and shape the company’s competitive positioning
- Prepare high-quality, clear, and compelling materials for Board and executive management reviews, highlighting the progress, impact, and value delivery of key initiatives.
- Develop and manage a governance framework tailored to the complexities of RBC’s US and global operations, ensuring alignment across Head Office, US Executive Committee, and subsidiary leadership teams
- Act as a trusted advisor to Line of Business leadership, enabling teams to advance an ambitious portfolio of key initiatives with clarity and focus
- Build strong relationships and influence with Line of Business and Functional leaders, internal and external partners to foster alignment and strong collaboration on value creation priorities
- Work closely with the CFO team and Second-Line-of-Defense functions to align strategic initiatives with financial goals, while ensuring compliance with risk frameworks
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Strategic thinker with deep financial services expertise and a hands-on approach to execution, typically with 10+ years of combined strategy and operating experiencein financial services, management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or corporate strategy
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering measurable results
- Collaborative and relationship-driven, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders andcollaborate at every level of the organization
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with competing priorities
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and value creation
Nice-to-have
- MBAor graduate/post-graduate or professional designations or equivalent
- Minimum two years of deep and broad management consulting experience with an emphasis on business strategy and financial services
- Deep understanding of the banking, capital markets, and wealth management sectors, including regulatory frameworksand industry dynamics
- Experience working in or with a multi-business financial services portfolio is strongly preferred
