We are currently seeking a talented individual to lead the Student Support Services team. This position provides leadership to professional support staff, focusing on the development and implementation of programs for students with diverse learning needs. This role integrates First Nations ways of knowing, being and doing into program development and implementation, ensuring that these cultural perspectives are incorporated. The Director manages and evaluates the creation and effective delivery of student services and programs, particularly for students with diverse needs across Yukon.

The Director ensures the efficient and effective delivery of student support services by overseeing a comprehensive range of consultation services and activities. This approach enables consultants and teachers to deliver culturally responsive and professional services and programs to all public schools, supporting students with diverse learning needs and aligning with the Department of Education’s goals of an inclusive environment.
