We are expanding our team and are looking for an enthusiastic Director, Strategic Pricing to support our Fintech businesses (Dealertrack & CMS). As the Director - Strategic Pricing, you will be responsible for analyzing pricing trends and conducting analytics to identify opportunities and formulate pricing recommendations for the business. In this role, you will work in collaboration with Finance, Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to develop pricing architecture, strategy, and execution plans. You will be the Subject Matter Expert in setting the level of pricing and offers necessary to attain profitable results.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Develop and recommend pricing and packaging models based on product roadmap and strategic priorities which deliver on short, medium, and long-term revenue growth plans for the company.
  2. Conduct analysis, provide recommendations, and execute a vision for a pricing and packaging strategy that will ensure profitable delivery of the corporate growth objectives and market competitiveness.
  3. Develop insights, identify and evaluate pricing/offer opportunities. Focus on continual improvement in effectiveness and efficiency of pricing/offer portfolio.
  4. Define the process for establishing pricing for our products and the education of & adherence to this process throughout the organization.
  5. Challenge the existing pricing structure and propose new and innovative ideas.
  6. Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Product daily, provide support where needed, and know how to persuade your ideas.
  7. Support Sales in deal structuring and pricing strategy for strategic accounts through Deal Desk.
  8. Provide the business with ongoing summary reports and executive presentations.

Required Skills:

  1. Minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience, with 5 years in pricing strategy or revenue management.
  2. Experience implementing packaging strategies.
  3. University Degree.
  4. Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met or exceeded.
  6. Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships.
  7. Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends, identify growth opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Able to work effectively within a team, listen and persuade others.
  9. Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  10. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (experience with Power BI considered a plus).
