Job description

The Director, Store Infrastructure Delivery is accountable for the end-to-end planning, governance, and execution of store infrastructure modernization programs across the retail network. This role provides centralized leadership and delivery oversight for complex, multi-workstream initiatives that impact stores, dealers, field operations, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. The Director ensures infrastructure programs are delivered in a coordinated, predictable, and low-disruption manner by managing dependencies, deployment sequencing, operational readiness, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communications. Acting as the single point of accountability for infrastructure delivery, the role drives successful execution from program initiation through deployment, stabilization, and transition to support.

What you’ll do:
  • Own End-to-End Delivery: Accountable for planning, governing, and delivering store infrastructure programs from initiation through deployment, stabilization, and handoff to support.
  • Manage Change & Dependencies: Coordinate complex technology changes, release sequencing, infrastructure dependencies, and risk mitigation across multiple initiatives.
  • Drive Store Deployment Readiness: Lead rollout planning, cutover execution, migration activities, operational readiness, communications, and hypercare support to ensure successful store implementations.
  • Orchestrate Cross-Functional Teams: Align infrastructure, network, hardware, operations, application, and vendor teams to deliver programs on time and with minimal business disruption.
  • Provide Executive & Dealer Visibility: Serve as the single accountable leader for program status, risks, decisions, escalations, and stakeholder communications across business, Dealer, and technology teams.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Establish delivery standards, governance processes, and continuous improvement practices that enable predictable, repeatable, and low-risk infrastructure modernization across the store network.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Store Infrastructure Delivery organization. Develop delivery managers, program managers, and technical oversight resources.
  • Establish delivery standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
  • Foster collaboration across Infrastructure, Store Technology, Operations, Security, and Business teams.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, proactive risk management, and execution excellence.
What you bring:
  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale technology, infrastructure, retail, or business transformation programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-million-dollar portfolios involving hardware, infrastructure, software, vendor, and operational change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence executives across technology, operations, vendors, and business functions.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, deployment planning, change management, and operational readiness.
  • Experience leading large-scale retail deployments, lifecycle upgrades, or infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, business cases, vendor contracts, and portfolio investments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to drive organizational change and establish new operating models and governance structures.
