The Director, Solutions Delivery is responsible for leading and developing delivery teams that collaborate with cross-functional development teams and business stakeholders. The goal is to define and implement business strategies, product roadmaps, service offerings, and new features.

This role contributes to the long-term profitability of the Wealth and Asset Management business line by setting performance goals and work practices that promote the design and development of high-quality products and solutions.

This is a demanding, strategic, and hands-on role requiring knowledge of the financial services sector and emerging trends in Wealth and Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities include:
  1. Managing delivery of initiatives focused on data management, client and advisor solutions, portfolio management, trading, and reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  2. Leading a customer-focused culture within delivery teams to enhance client relationships and leverage broader bank resources.
  3. Staying updated on emerging technologies, trends, and innovative solutions in the industry.
  4. Collaborating with SMEs and technology teams to create platform roadmaps aligned with business strategies.
  5. Guiding stakeholders on prioritization based on business value.
  6. Developing strategies to minimize technological debt and transition from legacy systems to modern platforms, maximizing operational efficiency.
  7. Building strong relationships with stakeholders through excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
  8. Managing stakeholder engagement, product releases, and customer journey expectations.
  9. Working with engineering and design teams to determine technical implementation methods and schedules.
  10. Reporting on project status, risks, and options, facilitating prompt decision-making.
  11. Maintaining awareness of market trends, competitive landscape, and digital transformation in Wealth and Asset Management.
  12. Developing roadmaps and business cases, focusing on future growth and benefits.
  13. Providing leadership that fosters employee empowerment and high engagement.
  14. Overseeing solution design and engineering in a large, distributed environment.
  15. Delivering complex, innovative projects that enhance Wealth product delivery.
  16. Managing relationships and negotiations at all organizational levels, including senior executives.
  17. Handling management tasks such as incident response, vendor management, infrastructure, and service resiliency.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience managing projects ranging from minor enhancements to major strategic initiatives with budgets from $50K to $10MM annually.
  • Proven success in delivering applications in agile environments, with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience leading and mentoring delivery teams, attracting and developing talent.
  • Critical thinking and risk mitigation skills.
  • Ability to lead analysis, design, and engineering teams toward strategic objectives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with business and technology partners.
  • Relevant experience in financial services, Asset Management, and Wealth Management.
  • Understanding of regulatory impacts on product and service design.
