The Role
AMD is searching for a Director, Silicon Design Engineering to lead the global Security IP (SECIP) organization. This team is responsible for designing and implementing a large number of individual embedded micro-processor (MP) subsystems and associated hardware. These subsystem IPs provide high performance functions to System on Chip (SoC) products across all AMD business units such as client computers, servers, discrete graphics, and gaming. Our design and verification engineers work on block level RTL design and/or subsystem level integration for a variety of embedded MP subsystems. Your leadership will impact security policy management, cryptography, data compression, high throughput DMA, power management, and many other subsystem applications.
The Person
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in leading digital logic design and verification of embedded microprocessors, accelerators, and security subsystems. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD. The candidate must have excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
