Summary
As the Director of Sales Operations, Process Transformation and AI Program Management, you will be a key leader to enhance sales productivity, revenue generation and customer experience using AI solutions. This role will focus on leveraging technology, with a strong emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI), implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the sales organization. You will champion the simplification of sales processes, adoption of AI-powered solutions to automate tasks, and generate actionable insights that drive sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Process Optimization: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of sales processes, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with overall business objectives. Identify opportunities to leverage AI to automate repetitive tasks, such as order fulfillment, sales presentation creation and data entry, freeing up sales representatives to focus on higher-value activities.
- Sales Productivity Enhancement: Identify and implement strategies to improve sales productivity, including streamlining workflows, automating tasks, and providing sales teams with the tools and resources they need to succeed. Evaluate and implement AI-powered tools for sales automation, such as intelligent chatbots, email automation platforms, and predictive dialers, to accelerate sales cycles and improve conversion rates.
- Data-Driven Insights: Develop and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide actionable insights into sales performance, pipeline management, and customer behavior. Utilize data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Leverage AI-powered analytics platforms to identify hidden patterns and insights in sales data, such as predicting customer churn, identifying high-potential leads, and optimizing sales strategies.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing to develop and deliver comprehensive sales enablement programs, including training, content, and tools, to equip sales teams with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively engage with customers and close deals. Incorporate AI-powered tools into sales enablement programs, such as personalized content recommendations and intelligent coaching platforms, to improve sales representative effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, product, finance, and other key stakeholders to align sales operations strategies with overall business goals and ensure seamless execution. Work with data science teams to develop and deploy custom AI models that address specific sales challenges.
- Program Management: Lead and manage strategic sales operations projects and initiatives, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track sales operations performance and identify areas for improvement. Develop metrics to track the impact of AI-powered solutions on sales performance.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in all sales operations activities. Ensure the responsible and ethical use of AI in sales operations, adhering to data privacy regulations and company policies.
Critical Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or related roles, with a proven track record of driving results. Experience with AI-powered sales technologies and a good understanding of AI principles and applications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, including machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Experience with sales technologies (e.g., Salesforce, sales automation, analytics platforms) and a strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies. Deep understanding of the AI landscape and the ability to identify and evaluate AI-powered solutions for sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with sales teams, leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and initiatives, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred. Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts is highly desirable.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
