Job Summary :

Directs and leads the delivery of cardiodiagnostic services.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :

Primary Responsibilities

• Develops and leads the implementation of policies, procedures and initiatives for cardiodiagnostics services.
• Develops departmental goals and standards consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the health care delivery system.
• Prepares departmental budget and ensures that department operates within allocated funds.
• Develops, implements, and monitors plan for patient care services in assigned department.
• Serves as a liaison between the service area and other department leaders.
• Maintain department facilities and equipment in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort and safety of patients and staff.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Master's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree required

Experience

Seven years' experience, with five years in direct people management / leadership required

Required Professional License And / or Certifications

Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) AND

ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARRT-T Radiation Therapy - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) - American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) - American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) - American Registry for Diagnostic Sonographers
