What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Lead and structure a high-performing team of 15+ research engineers, setting clear expectations and actively coaching
2. Collaborate with customers and product leaders to shape the future of CoCounsel for Tax, Accounting, and Audit
3. Drive the end-to-end model development lifecycle while partnering with a cross-functional team
4. Oversee multiple large projects and initiatives across key product lines in Tax & Accounting
5. Present work confidently to customers and other external venues

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent; Master’s or PhD preferred
2. 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in Machine Learning
3. 5+ years of management experience coaching and developing high-performing teams
4. Demonstrated experience integrating machine learning solutions into production-grade software
5. Expertise in Python development and various libraries such as Numpy, Scipy, and Pandas

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. 8+ years of management experience in software engineering
2. Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) problems and tasks like Named Entity Recognition
3. Hands-on experience in programming languages such as Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript
