Role Description

This is a Regional Role, overseeing Planning and Development projects across the country. The Director will manage a coordinator and a team of outsourced Planners for the Western Region.

• Provide planning and development assistance to the Legal, Real Estate, and Construction Departments as part of the due diligence process for prospective land transactions. This typically involves determining municipal requirements (zoning, development fees, off-site costs, restrictions, etc.) and developing preliminary design drawings, as well as reviewing potential agreements.
• Manage the design and municipal approval process for new stores, renovations, conversions, and ancillary developments in Canada.
