ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Vice President, Patient Care and Chief Nurse Executive (CNE), theDirector, Quality, Patient Relations & Safety, IPAC is a key member of the QCH leadership team and has corporate responsibility for setting and achieving the long and short-term operational, clinical, financial, quality, and utilization/effectiveness goals for their portfolio. They are responsible for strategically directing the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of the QCH quality improvement, quality assurance, risk management, client experience, clinical education and infection prevention and control (IPAC) programs.
Leveraging their strong financial acumen and working collaboratively across departments, the incumbent will work with clinicians, clinical leaders, and staff to consistently monitor and improve how the Hospital provides high-quality patient care. Building and maintaining an operational and people strategy that fosters development in their team will be paramount to advancing this integral component of the QCH True North strategic plan.
This role requires a full-time, on-site presence and will provide clinical leadership, conscientious change management, and strategic direction for this group.
The incumbent will be a strategic leader in ensuring the quality; patient experience; and IPAC practices of the Hospital are integrated into QCH’s strategic direction.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
QCH is looking for a talented and respected clinical leader who is passionate about healthcare and innovative solutions, ideally with a combined background in leading quality, patient experience and IPAC teams in a healthcare environment.The successful incumbent is a confident leader with strong understanding of clinical workflows, excellent communication, training, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence leaders through sound analysis and strategic recommendations.
They will have successfully completed a Master’s Degree in a Health-related program of Study and have 5+ years progressive experience in healthcare/healthcare management.

SALARY RANGE
Non-Union: $150,677 - $182,637 annually
