Job summary

Shared Health seeks a Director Provincial Contracting Services to establish and lead the new SCM Shared Service. You will drive category management, contracting, and procurement across Manitoba health service organizations, aligning with provincial governance and CoE partners.

The role leads ~35 staff, manages ~$900M spend, and collaborates with stakeholders to optimize value, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with trade agreements and directives. Hybrid work arrangement in Winnipeg.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in supply chain management, business administration, commerce or related field.
• Additional specialized training in category management and strategic sourcing preferred.
• Active regulator membership; SCMP or related designation is an asset.
• Experience leading a client-service oriented team in a large public sector network.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a Category Management approach for a ~35-person team.
• Oversee contracting around $900 million in annual spend.
• Collaborate with Government of Manitoba CoE and suppliers to drive category initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure best value and compliance.
