Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Director, Product Management - Guest Services Technology, you set the technology vision for a major portfolio of direct-to-consumer guest experiences. You will be accountable for running, growing and transforming our guest experiences by owning the end–to-end lifecycle management of a major portfolio of technology products that support the Guest Service business teams. Your responsibilities include setting the vision, creating the roadmaps and executing the 3-5 year strategic product roadmap encompassing discovery, design, delivery, security, scalability and support. You will be responsible for a major product's lifecycle from inception to execution. You'll play a critical role in fostering agile product management practice within the Digital Marketing and Guest Service team.

Meet Your Future Team:

You oversee a team of senior product managers and their teams, each managing two or more products within your portfolio, along with a senior engineering manager responsible for the technical delivery of the business initiatives.

If you were the Director, Product Management – Guest Services Technology, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of a major portfolio of products tied to a unified commerce direct-to-consumer experience for our guests/customers
  • Aligning with other major technology product managers and non-technology stakeholders
  • Defining the technology product vision and strategy for your portfolio of products, strongly aligned with your business partner and the company vision, strategy, and goals.
  • Building strong partnerships with the business product owners and sponsors to understand, empathize, and create a compelling vision and strategic 3-5 year roadmap for the product
  • Acting as the accountable decision maker at the portfolio steering committees for technology decision making to meet your business partners' objectives
  • Managing the budget of the major product and product portfolio, including creating annual budgets, forecasting expenditures, and monitoring financial performance against budgeted targets
  • Leading a team of Senior Product Managers, Business Systems Analysts, and Quality Assurance Analysts to achieve the technology product portfolio objectives on time, to budget, and to expectation
  • Ensuring your team of product managers have clear prioritized roadmaps and access to rapid issue resolution for multiple concurrently running products, projects, and programs
  • Leading the evolution of the product management practice and mentoring the rest of the product management team
  • Managing all procurement initiatives within the product portfolio as the main point of contact for strategic partnerships
  • Defining the product priorities ensuring alignment with company vision, business objectives, and industry trends
  • Reporting the technology product portfolio status regularly to C-suite steering committees
  • Executing the entire portfolio strategy for the technology products in your portfolio
  • Managing the recruitment, onboarding, career development, and growth of the Product Management team
Are you our next Director, Product Management – Guest Services Technology?
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business or a related field
  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Project or Product Manager/Owner
  • You have 5+ years’ experience leading others
  • You have demonstrated success working in an agile methodology
  • You have a PMP or Scrum certification (PMP, PRINCEII, CSM, CSPO, etc.)
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders
  • You have strong leadership and people management skills
  • You have an exceptional ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player
  • You have excellent communication and influencing skills
  • You have strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple, competing priorities
  • You have demonstrated success in managing budgets and resources for product portfolios
  • You have excellent time management skills with the ability to plan ahead and meet deadlines
  • You are familiar with web-development/Salesforce development
  • You possess a high level of analytical and critical thinking
  • You have strong facilitation, diplomacy, and leadership skills
  • You have experience coaching and mentoring in an agile development environment
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
