Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

Fraud and chargebacks disrupt the entire payments ecosystem, driving both card issuers and merchants to focus on resolving disputes instead of increasing card acceptance and revenue. Ethoca Consumer Clarity (“Clarity”) changes the dialogue, creating a rich environment for issuers and merchants to engage cardholders post-transaction, reducing frustration and driving repeat spend.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic roadmap leveraging market and customer research based on Clarity and Disputes’ long term vision.
  • Evaluate new opportunities for Clarity from a revenue, strategic and technology synergy POV.
  • Identify opportunities to improve value proposition of suite of Clarity products beyond dispute deflection.
  • Oversee product evolution, establish go-to-market strategy, pricing & optimize products and resources.
  • Build and deliver the roadmap of features working in a cross-functional team set-up including Engineering, Data Science, Senior Product leaders & Innovation teams of Mastercard.
  • Understand Mastercard’s business model and take key financial or commercial factors.
  • Leverage the Studio framework to manage the delivery of ongoing innovation and enhancements to focus Products.
  • Deploy test & learn experimentation to ensure that the end user and customer experience is continuously optimized.
  • Incorporate and understanding of the broader payments ecosystem into ongoing product management (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive environment).
  • Build reusable capabilities for AI driven product development.
  • Take accountability for the delivery of key product enhancements and partner with Guild members to deliver.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of business requirements to achieve Product objectives.
  • Actively partner with the Guilds to create best practices within the Program with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
  • Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent product documentation across the Studio framework.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum.
  • Lead by example with hands-on approaches to demonstrating product management excellence, sharing best practices, and demonstrating our Mastercard Way Values.

Experiences

  • Have knowledge and experience to leverage latest AI tools to build and scale future forward features efficiently.
  • Experience building or managing data-heavy products that use ML and AI technologies.
  • Extensive experience working on product launches in multiple markets.
  • Experience independently building product strategies and driving alignment with senior executives.
  • Understands and can explain the business context and the associated customer use cases.
  • Verbal and written communication is clear and concise.
  • Improve team processes that accelerate product development, delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve quality.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of team performance and leadership bar and effectively apply it to hiring decisions.
  • Demonstrate experience as people manager with the ability to attract, recruit, and develop technical talent.
