Job summary

Arcadis, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, seeks a senior expert to guide offshore wind development and regulatory strategy in Atlantic Canada. The role focuses on CNSOER processes, SLLs, and impacts assessment, while coordinating with regulators, Indigenous Nations, and industry partners.

We expect 15+ years in consulting, with accreditation, and a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in environmental science, studies, planning, or engineering.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience, including 10+ years in a consulting environment.
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., RPP, P.Geo., RPBio, EP) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior leadership and technical oversight for offshore wind, environmental assessment, regulatory permitting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop bid‑related documentation and regulator engagement plans.
  • Build strategic relationships with regulators, Indigenous Nations, community groups, and industry associations.
  • Lead and mentor Arcadis technical professionals across projects and regions.
  • Support regulatory roadmaps from tenure acquisition through impact assessment and authorization processes.
  • Contribute to winning strategies and exceptional client service and project delivery.
