The Director of Continuing Medical Education (CME) is responsible for the strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of continuing medical education programs. This role ensures that CME activities meet the educational needs of healthcare professionals, comply with accreditation standards, and support the organization's mission to improve patient care through education.

Daily Operations

  • Planning, managing, developing, and supervising all CME activities in the School of Medicine and Basic Sciences; planning, managing, developing, and supervising all CDE activities in the School of Dentistry.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on CME and CDE activities, outcomes, and compliance to senior leadership and accrediting bodies.
  • Accreditation Compliance: Ensure all CME and CDE activities comply with accreditation standards and guidelines set by relevant accrediting bodies (e.g., ACCME, ADA CERP).
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop marketing strategies to promote CME and CDE activities and increase participation.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
