Mastercard Loyalty Solutions is the world's largest loyalty company, a service division within Mastercard that provides reward programs, offers, and benefits to both financial institutions/distributors and merchants/advertisers. We manage over 600 million accounts on our loyalty systems, serving over 2,000 global clients. We offer an end-to-end outsourced service and are at the forefront of next-generation loyalty solutions, enabled by our global team of 900 loyalty specialists working across the world, leading the integration of loyalty with payments.
Offers is focused on driving revenue through our proprietary platform and merchant/advertiser network. We are on a transformational journey, with ambitious goals and are currently seeking a Director of Offers Transformation, Advertiser Lead to join our product organization. This role will have high visibility across the enterprise given the strategic importance to Mastercard Services and requires the ideal candidate to have a deep understanding of the advertising/media landscape, a proven track record collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business, and comfort with ambiguity. This individual must be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and responding effectively to industry direction.
Role:
- Define and lead Offers long-term vision in the media network space across the marketing funnel.
- Work closely with functional partners including sales, communications, marketing, and product development to ensure strong market positioning and competitive tool set.
- Identify emerging distribution channels required for business success.
- Shape our advertiser value proposition by deeply understanding the needs of merchants, agencies, and media buyers - translating those insights into compelling positioning and go-to-market strategies.
- Define and develop advertiser solutions that work within the omnichannel strategy of advertisers - helping them understand how it integrates alongside retail media, CTV, search, social, and other marketing channels.
- Define the programmatic strategic approach including required connections to DSP, SSP, and other providers to ensure business success offering.
- Work closely with sales to ensure accurate selling of ad-sales.
- Work closely with Offers growth leads to define monetization approach with ongoing pulse on market.
- Be a thought partner, driving awareness across the organization on Offers role in the media network space.
About You:
- Background experience in advertising, ad-tech, product development, startup.
- Seasoned individual who has a deep understanding of the advertising needs.
- Deep familiarity with the evolving digital advertising ecosystem, including retail and financial media networks, digital marketing tools, and the broader adtech/martech landscape.
- Clear understanding of the relationship dynamics between agencies and advertisers, including how decisions are made and value is assessed.
- Vast understanding of marketing funnel requirements and required engagements for advertiser success.
- Strong understanding of performance and growth marketing strategies and their role in an advertiser's broader marketing mix.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working independently.
- Expert knowledge in programmatic advertising, omni-channel needs, and measurement.
- Strong people management experience.
- Strong partnership and collaboration skills, fostering trust with both internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to act with persistent and relentless sense of urgency.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with senior-level executives, both internally and externally.
- Strong competency preparing presentation materials with strong storytelling.
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
