Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Wellness will lead a clinical team to provide care support and services.

What you’ll be doing :

You will be a valued member of the Aspira Management team, impacting in the following ways :

  • Assess residents’ needs; develop care plans and determine care fees and team member requirements
  • Monitor resident incidents and guide team members on interventions to prevent recurrence
  • Evaluate nursing and related services to ensure quality of care (Falls, Behaviours, Infection Control, etc.)
  • Manage recruitment, orientation, development, scheduling, and performance of Guest Attendants, Unregulated Care Providers, and Registered Practical Nurses
  • Build professional relationships with hospital teams and community care partners; participate in marketing outreach and conduct assessments for prospective residents
  • Assist in preparing and managing the department budget

Who you are :

  • An effective manager with a proven track record of results and performance improvement
  • A Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with at least three years’ experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, or senior health
  • Possess good judgment, risk awareness, and foster a positive work environment
  • Demonstrate strong technology skills, especially in Microsoft Office
