Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Wellness will lead a clinical team to provide care support and services.

This is a Temporary Full-Time position, ending in July 2026.

Schedule : Monday to Friday 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm, with occasional weekends.

Salary : $69,954 - $80,000 annually

What you’ll be doing :

You will be a welcomed member of the Aspira Management team and impact in the following ways :

  • Ensure resident’s needs are assessed; develop service plans of care and determine corresponding care fees and team member requirements as applicable
  • Monitor all resident incidents and direct team members regarding interventions to prevent reoccurrence as applicable
  • Monitor the quality indicators and evaluates nursing and related services to ensure quality of resident care. (Falls, Behaviours, Infection Control etc.)
  • Responsible for departmental recruitment, selection, orientation, development, scheduling and performance management of Guest Attendants, Unregulated Care Providers, and Registered Practical Nurses.
  • Develop and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with hospital team members and our home and community care partners. Participate in marketing outreach such as presentations on wellness services and aging in place philosophy, and interview prospective residents conducting assessments to determine suitability for admission
  • Participate in the preparation of the department budget and administer the approved budget within established parameters

Who you are :

  • An exceptional manager with a demonstrated track record of delivering results and continuously improving performance
  • Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) and good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • You have good judgement, the ability to identify risk and can foster a positive work environment
  • Can demonstrate strong technology skills in Microsoft Office suite programs
