Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a full-time Director of Supply Chain to join our team. The Director based in Bedford will report to the Vice President, Operations, and will be responsible for leading the supply chain organization for Innovasea.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a systematic, data-driven approach to optimize our supply base.
  • Develop sourcing strategies, goals, and KPIs to measure and optimize supply chain performance, including inventory turns, forecast accuracy, product availability, inventory valuation, capacity utilization, and cost savings.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including strategic suppliers, and implement supplier reviews and metrics.
  • Oversee activities related to strategic and tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and receiving in a high-volume, fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop priorities, manage continuous improvement processes, and recommend changes in supply chain methods aligned with company objectives.
  • Own the dynamic, cross-functional demand planning process.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve supply chain performance, optimize costs, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Implement technological advancements to improve processes and productivity, promoting best practices across the company.
  • Draw actionable insights from complex, multi-source datasets.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering; SCMP or equivalent (CSCP, CSCMP) required.
  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of procurement experience, including team leadership and strategic sourcing.
  • Extensive experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Proven success in building high-performing teams and implementing strategic sourcing programs.
  • Experience analyzing complex datasets to derive metrics and insights.
  • Legal right to work in Canada; residing in HRM or willing to relocate. No visa sponsorship provided.
  • Experience with SYSPRO ERP system is an asset.
