Join Our Leadership Team: Director of Services (Kenora-Based)

Are you a passionate, forward-thinking leader with a commitment to youth and community services? William W. Creighton Youth Services is seeking an experienced Director of Services to provide strategic leadership across our Out-of-Home Care programs, Youth Justice services, and specialized community-based programs and initiatives. This is a full-time, in-person role located in Kenora, Ontario.

As the Director of Service, you will bring vision, compassion, and the mindset to:

1. Drive continuous improvement and evidence-informed practice across programs helping ensure young people receive high-quality, trauma-informed care.
2. Deliver strategic operational leadership to guide and elevate our multidisciplinary team of professionals.
3. Lead with purpose to support agency-wide planning and innovation.
4. Influence complex systems of care while cultivating and nurturing strong connections within our agency, our funders, and community stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone who:

1. Has a Master’s degree in Social Sciences (or Bachelor of Social Work with at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in youth services or related fields).
2. Brings a deep understanding of specialized youth programming and integrated community supports for young people navigating complex life circumstances, such as adversity, disconnection, or complex barriers.
3. Builds organizational trust, cultivates high-impact partnerships, and models culturally responsive leadership at every level.
4. Brings a systems-thinking lens to complex challenges and helps shape the broader direction of youth services across the region.
5. Is committed to service excellence, innovation, and accountability across all levels of program and service delivery.
