Job Description

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable pre-opening Director of Sales for TownePlace Suites, Woodstock, ON!

Your expertise shapes us :

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing the total sales strategy for the hotel, including securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients to generate group business, including room sales, F&B sales, and catering/banquet services.
  • Attending networking events, building relationships with local community groups, companies, and trade organizations, and attending meetings and conventions to generate hotel sales.
  • Conducting site tours.
  • Maintaining a customer database.
  • Developing contracts and following up with clients.
  • Managing the departmental budget and monitoring sales activity to meet or exceed profit goals, reporting variances and projections to management.

You Are :

  • An experienced Director of Sales with at least 2 years of hotel sales experience.
  • Familiar with sales processes and systems of Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proactive, persistent, and analytical.
  • A team player, professional, and ethical leader.
  • Available to meet with guests, including weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Engaged, authentic, and ready to prospect, sell, and maintain accounts to positively impact hotel revenues.
