About the Role
We are seeking an experienced& Senior Sales Operations Manager / Director of Sales Operations & to design, implement, and optimize our global sales strategy. You will oversee sales enablement, marketing and communications alignment, CRM management, and performance analytics—ensuring our sales teams have the tools, training, and insights needed to exceed targets.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven, process-oriented leader with a strong ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at knowledge management, and are skilled at driving accountability and performance across sales teams.
Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy Execution
Design, operationalize, and continuously improve the global sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
Foster a high-performance sales culture with clear accountability and incentive structures (monetary non-monetary).
Own and optimize sales tools (e.g.,& HubSpot CRM, Salesforce ) and ensure seamless execution of sales processes.
Develop and report on quarterly / annual sales metrics, OKRs, and operational insights.
Sales Enablement Training
Lead onboarding and continuous training programs to enhance sales team competence.
Develop sales collateral, training materials, and product knowledge resources.
Support sales leadership in coaching and performance management.
Marketing Communications Alignment
Oversee marketing and communications (MarComs) strategies to drive lead generation and sales support.
Manage the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Marketing Associate teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with Delivery, Platform, Product, and other teams to align sales initiatives.
Lead strategic projects (e.g., commercialization programs like& NRC-IRAP ) in partnership with executive leadership.
Provide interim sales management support when needed.
Tech Stack
CRM Sales Tools : & HubSpot, Salesforce (or similar)
Sales Enablement : & Seismic, Highspot, Gong (or equivalent)
Data Analytics : & Power BI, Tableau, Excel / Google Sheets (advanced)
Marketing Automation : & HubSpot Marketing Hub, Marketo (or similar)
Communication Collaboration : & Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
Project Management : & Asana, Trello, Jira (or similar)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Primary : & Achievement of annual sales targets; 80%+ of reps meeting ≥80% of quotas.
Leading Indicators : & Sales pipeline value, conversion rates, and input metrics.
Reporting Structure
Reports to : Chief Partnerships Officer
Direct Reports : Sales Development Representatives, Marketing Associate, and additional roles (TBD).
Qualifications Required :
10+ years in sales operations, revenue operations, or sales enablement (global / multi-country experience preferred).
Expertise in& CRM management (HubSpot, Salesforce) & and sales analytics.
Proven success in designing sales strategies, training programs, and performance systems.
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
Desirable :
Experience in international development, tech-for-good, or social impact sectors.
Background in marketing / communications (MarComs) strategy.
Familiarity with commercialization grants (e.g.,& NRC-IRAP & or equivalent).
Location Eligibility
This role is partially funded by Canada’s& NRC-IRAP program , so candidates must be legally based in Canada (or eligible for Canadian T4 employment without sponsorship).
