Here is what you will be doing each day:

As our Director of Sales and Catering, you will be the driving force behind the strategic planning and execution of sales and catering initiatives across our three independent, boutique properties in Edmonton. You will:

  • Lead and manage the sales and catering teams to achieve revenue goals and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with market trends, business objectives, and brand standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners to grow business opportunities and enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with culinary, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and service excellence.
  • Analyze market data and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting , ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining high service standards.
  • Mentor and inspire your team through coaching, performance management, and professional development initiatives.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for directing all aspects of the sales and catering activities including guest and employee satisfaction, management, financial performance, and revenue generation.

Does this sound like you?

You have proven experience in sales, preferably in a multi-property hotel setting. Your 4 to 5 years’ experience in a senior sales and catering role will be a huge asset in this role. You possess excellent financial acumen with experience in forecasting, revenue management and budgeting.
