What you will be doing:

  • Prepare and administer the hotel’s sales & marketing plan and related budget, ensuring integration of the strategic planning process into daily operations to achieve revenue goals.
  • Lead and develop the sales team to achieve their highest potential in line with strategic plans.
  • Manage all sales training, set yearly sales targets, quotas, incentive plans, and other learning initiatives to maintain effective sales professionals.
  • Stay informed of competitors’ sales and marketing strategies and counteract effectively to secure maximum business.
  • Identify and develop new business sources across all segments to broaden the account base.
  • Ensure guest service excellence through collaboration with operations to exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain effective communication with corporate sales and marketing teams, local hotels, and regional management for synergistic opportunities.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts with local tourism initiatives to enhance the hotel’s leadership role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Hotel Management degree is an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of senior sales management experience in hospitality or related tourism fields.
  • Excellent communication skills—interpersonal, written, and media relations.
  • Proven leadership and team development results.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and Property Management systems.
