Job Description : About the Role :

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Sales to lead strategic customer management, drive revenue and profit growth, and develop new business opportunities. You will oversee a customer portfolio, build strong relationships, and lead the Customer Business Manager (CBM) team, collaborating cross-functionally and aligning teams with customer and channel priorities.

You will perform functions including:

  1. Develop and maintain key customer relationships to meet revenue and margin goals.
  2. Lead and coach the CBM team, overseeing capabilities, forecasting, and account assignments.
  3. Align divisional and customer priorities, guiding team execution in line with strategies.
  4. Collaborate with business units and category leadership for insights and leverage.
  5. Partner with the VP to implement strategies and build growth plans.
  6. Manage customer and CBM actions impacting P&L, including terms, trade, deductions, and inventory.
  7. Ensure forecasting accuracy and performance tracking, owning customer/channel P&L.
  8. Influence internal and external scorecard metrics and communication strategies.
  9. Serve as a communication link between customers, leadership, and CBMs.

Important Details :

  • This is a full-time, remote role on first shift.

  • Ten+ years in sales, manufacturing, and food industry, with 5+ years in leadership.
  • Strong business, financial, strategic, and analytical skills.
  • Proven leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Track record of exceeding sales and profit goals.
  • Innovative solutions in complex environments.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing setting.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with IRI and SAP BI is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 20-60% for meetings and events.
