A leading construction company in Saint John, New Brunswick, is seeking a Director of Safety to oversee safety teams and implement safety management systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong safety leadership background, a post-secondary degree, and extensive experience in health and safety within the industrial sector. The Director of Safety is responsible for oversight of the safety teams supporting the various operations within the OSCO Construction Group in the Maritimes Ontario and New England (US). The position provides overall leadership and direction for OSCO's safety management systems to achieve a safe workplace, foster a company-wide safety culture and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Director of Safety is the leader of our safety-first culture with a collaborative team building focus and strong regulatory knowledge.
