A leading organization in Indigenous education seeks a candidate for a leadership role focused on developing an Indigenous research profile. The position requires a deep understanding of Indigenous research methodologies and involves strategic planning and collaboration with various stakeholders. Applicants should have experience in project management and a commitment to Indigenous education.
This leadership and supervisory position will build and lead Kenjgewin Teg’s Indigenous (Anishinabek) research profile in Indigenous higher education. It requires a spiritual and Anishinaabemowin-connected understanding of Indigenous research theory and praxis, emphasizing First Nations control of post-secondary education. The role involves developing an Anishinabek research action plan aligned with Kenjgewin Teg’s philosophies of Anishinaabeaadiziwn, Anishinaabemowin, and trauma-informed education.
