- Develop and execute a comprehensive real estate and construction strategy in alignment with the company’s expansion goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to determine facility requirements and site selection strategies.
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, design, permitting, and construction of new healthcare facilities and the renovation of existing sites.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate potential property acquisitions.
- Conduct due diligence, including market analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling to support acquisition decisions.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of real estate and construction professionals.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovative problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Implement quality control measures and safety protocols on all construction sites.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Maintain strong relationships with internal departments, external partners, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to senior management and board members.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED AP) is a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in real estate development, construction management, or related fields.
- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing large-scale, complex projects, preferably within the healthcare or medical services industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing acquisitions, project budgets, and cross-functional teams.
