Job description

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive real estate and construction strategy in alignment with the company’s expansion goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to determine facility requirements and site selection strategies.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, design, permitting, and construction of new healthcare facilities and the renovation of existing sites.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate potential property acquisitions.
  • Conduct due diligence, including market analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling to support acquisition decisions.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of real estate and construction professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovative problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Implement quality control measures and safety protocols on all construction sites.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal departments, external partners, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to senior management and board members.
Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED AP) is a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in real estate development, construction management, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing large-scale, complex projects, preferably within the healthcare or medical services industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing acquisitions, project budgets, and cross-functional teams.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Deep knowledge of construction processes, real estate markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
