Paul Melanson at MacDonald Search Group has been engaged by a high-growth, global technology consulting firm to identify a Director of Professional Services to lead their Canadian delivery function, based in the Halifax region (hybrid).

This is a true leadership role, not a maintenance role. You’ll be responsible for shaping national delivery strategy, leading a high-performing consulting team, and ensuring complex ERP and SaaS implementations translate into measurable business outcomes for clients.

This role sits at the intersection of delivery excellence, customer success, and commercial performance.

Some of what you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and developing a national professional services team focused on ERP and cloud implementations
• Driving service excellence across project delivery, customer engagement, and escalation management
• Owning delivery performance including utilization, profitability, and client outcomes
• Partnering with Sales to ensure accurate scoping and successful execution of complex implementations
• Building strong executive-level client relationships while navigating high-impact projects
• Providing strategic insight to senior leadership on performance, forecasting, and growth opportunities

We’re looking to connect with leaders who bring:

• 8–10+ years leading consulting or professional services delivery teams
• Strong experience in ERP, SaaS, SAP, or cloud-based implementations
• A proven ability to lead teams, manage complexity, and drive accountability
• A natural problem solver with a progressive, people-first leadership style
• Experience navigating escalations and delivering in high-stakes environments
• MBA, CPA, PMP
• French language capability
