Summary:

The Senior Director of Training is responsible for managing the New Hire training for one of the Healthcare programs globally. The role serves as the primary decision-maker for the Training team, overseeing daily activities supporting multiple lines of business and providing supervision and guidance. As a strategic leader, your scope includes planning training policies, programs, testing tools, methods, and systems to ensure quality standards and meet all operational KPIs. The department covers four key disciplines: Training Delivery, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, and Corporate Compliance Training. This role is vital in directing global training solutions.

Principle Accountabilities (Key Result Areas):
  1. Plan, design, and implement effective training programs, onboarding, and policies in collaboration with stakeholders.
  2. Evaluate training needs, revise course materials, and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
  3. Manage team development through coaching, mentoring, and professional growth initiatives.
  4. Handle managerial tasks such as payroll, dashboards, needs analysis, and reporting.
  5. Ensure trainer readiness through observations and adherence to SOPs, dedicating 10% of weekly time to coaching.
  6. Develop and implement training strategies and departmental growth initiatives.
  7. Create training materials, including auditing guides and surveys.
  8. Coordinate program planning and delivery with local and corporate stakeholders.
  9. Drive results with reporting tools and measure training effectiveness using data and surveys.
  10. Stay updated on trends to recommend new practices and technologies.
  11. Demonstrate proactive initiative, adaptability, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  12. Maintain an organizational structure aligned with quality and training standards.
  13. Exhibit strong management skills in a global, multi-location environment, emphasizing people and skills development.
  14. Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
  15. Communicate effectively in English, both written and oral, including delivering presentations.
Knowledge & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, adult training, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years managing a global training team in a call center or BPO environment with heavy ramp-up experience.
  • 5+ years facilitation and training experience.
  • 5+ years LMS management and utilization.
  • Experience leading training for 30+ new hire classes during rapid ramp-ups.
  • Experience launching new training programs on tight timelines.
  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles, instructional design, and feedback gathering.
  • Proficiency with G-Suite, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and company systems.
  • Technical writing skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Compensation & Benefits:

The estimated base salary range is $120,000 - $135,000, with additional benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location, and could include commissions or other benefits.
