Job Description:

The Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier, a boutique full-service hotel in North Vancouver, BC, is seeking a hands-on Director of Operations & Strategic Growth. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, focus on revenue generation, and lead strategic initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. The hotel features 100+ guestrooms, meeting space, a restaurant, indoor pool, and fitness center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily hotel operations with a focus on service standards.
• Achieve sales targets for rooms, catering, and events.
• Forecast revenue, identify gaps, and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with the Sales Team on sales activities.
• Develop team performance through supervision, training, and evaluations.
• Develop marketing and promotional strategies for sales growth.
• Assist in recruitment and staff development.
• Maintain service quality, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Control food, beverage, and labor costs within budget.
• Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 4 years of hotel management experience, including Food & Beverage and Rooms division; brand experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in sales and marketing within a full-service hotel.
• Bachelor degree in hospitality management is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of group, leisure, and corporate markets.
• Proven ability to develop and implement sales initiatives.
• Excellent knowledge of hotel operations, especially Food & Beverage and Rooms divisions.
• Strong attention to detail and a successful sales track record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Details:

Pay: Starting from $90,000 per year, with bonus pay.

Schedule includes day shifts, holidays, night shifts, and weekends as needed.

Relocation or reliable commute to North Vancouver, BC V7L 0B1 required.

Experience in sales & marketing: 2+ years; hotel management: 4+ years.
