As an essential leader within the firm, the Director of Operations and Administration will drive operational excellence, aligning with the vision of the two Partners while ensuring seamless collaboration across a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping workflows, leading the administrative team, and enhancing the premium client experience for their professional physician clientele. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong operational mindset, capable of translating the firm’s mission into actionable plans.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Strategic Leadership: shapes and operationalizes the Partners’ vision, mission, and goals through clear action plans and efficient workflows.
• Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of three administrative professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
• HR & Compliance: Manage HR functions, including scheduling, onboarding, vacation planning, and compliance.
• Project Management: Oversee both recurring and one-off initiatives, including client events, seminars, and business development opportunities.
• Client Experience: Ensure operational excellence to support a high-touch service model for discerning clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Associate Advisor, Financial Planner, and Business Development Manager to align roles and optimize team performance.
• Liaison Role: Maintain strong relationships with National Bank Financial Group’s head office and external partners.

As the ideal candidate, you have post-secondary education in the area of business administration or a related equivalent, combined with several years of experience in office management and people operations.
